Everything We Need

I know, it’s hard to believe sometimes. When things keep getting worse. And worse. When we’re smacked with a too-full schedule, empty bank account, fixed trials, broken hearts, stress doing overtime, good health on vacation. Will God really meet our needs?

Thank you Lord for supplying all our needs

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:19

Deep inside we know it’s true. Always has been. But it sure is hard to see when bewilderness and relentless storms obscure what the Lord is providing here and now. Life is crazy sometimes and makes no sense at all. But that doesn’t mean God is not working in the background meeting our every need as we live each day. One day at a time. If we look closely we can find His fingerprints molding our circumstances to provide everything we need. Little reminders that let us know He’s looking out for us. It may not match the needs we have in mind but perfectly covers everything necessary to fulfill the dream He designed for us and become the person we are meant to be.

Wouldn’t you know it, as an answer to my prayer asking the Lord what He wanted me to say in this post, God provided  Dreams We Don’t Ask For  by Sundi Jo. Her words spoke to my heart and reminded me of how God shows up as we take one step at a time in the right direction. As you read her story, I think it will touch and inspire you too.
