Let God be God

I don’t remember exactly what the debate in my head was about, but I believe it had something to do with being too much or too forward. Will I be putting someone dear to me in an awkward position?  Then I heard the whisper, “Just love with all your heart and let God be God.” That’s it.  Share my heart and trust God completely.

Let God Be God

Sometimes our motives do get questioned or we are misunderstood. Or those good intentions get tripped up and we land splat on our faces, hurt and bruised. So what? When we give and love from pure hearts we can confidently go ahead and let go knowing God is at work in our corner. Whatever happens after we soul-search, ask for wisdom and surrender our will is God’s business.

We never have to worry about anything when we give it all we’ve got and let God be God. It’s His job to run the universe. His promise to take care of all our needs.

So we can relax and find peace because every result and consequence is in His hands and He’s up to something good.

One of those good things is the one and only irreplaceable, beyond compare you. Like Holley Gerth says “if there’s only one of something it can’t be compared”. For more on that note hop on over to this week’s link-up at Holley Gerth’s place where you’ll find a generous outpouring of love, encouragement, and inspiration by the cupful as you join her and the Coffee for Your Heart Community.

Thank you  Holley Gerth

Knowing I should let God be God is not always easy! Yet, when I do, like you say, there is a peace in the letting go. Good words of encouragement. Visiting from Holly’s.
